ELLEN DOLAN AS MARGO HUGHES

Ellen was born in Monticello, Iowa on October 16; she was raised in Decorah, Iowa and currently lives in NYC’s Greenwich Village. She recently gave birth to her first child in the spring.

Ellen joined the cast of ATWT as policewoman Margo Hughes in November 1989.

Ellen’s other roles include Maureen Bauer on Guiding Light from 1982-1986; Mother’s Day, Mothers, Daughters, and Lovers with Helen Shaver, and Claude Atkins and Dancing with Danger with Cheryl Ladd and Ed Marinaro.

Ellen began her stage career in 1980 at the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre in roles such as Katrin in Mother Courage. She has also appeared in some regional productions including; Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Virginia Stage Co.; Clelia in the The Nerd at the Capital Repertory in Albany, NY. Ellen also started her own theatre group in NY called the Studio Three Group.
